Basically pressed next 3 times, since I only have 2 monitors, so there wasn't any real reconfiguration I could do other than choosing if I wanted Eyefinity to work in portrait or landscape. Clicked on "Create AMD Eyefinity Display Group"ĥ. Clicked on "Additional Settings", which opened up the leftovers of AMD CCCĤ.

So Eyefinity did something to my G206HL's drivers or firmware that is preventing it from working without a second monitor.Īlso Eyefinity works with 2 monitors as you said, it doesn't do anything except extend the image across 2 monitors which is exactly why I disabled and don't plan to use it after seeing that was all it did.Īlso all I did to get Eyefinity to work wasģ. The S201HL still works by itself without a second monitor. Or if I plug in my S201HL and try to only use the G206HL, the G206HL still has the same problem. If I unplug my S201HL, the G206HL stops accepting input for some reason. The issue I am having here is for some reason whenever I try to use the Acer G206HL by itself will no longer works and says "Input Is Not Supported". Both of them were working perfectly fine until I after I experimented with the Eyefinity which I have since then disabled. They are both hooked up through DVI-D ports to an R9 390. I have a Acer S201HL and and a Acer G206HL. The issue I have is it did something to one of my monitors so that it can no longer work by itself altogether. Once again the issue is not getting Eyefinity to work. Does anyone have a fix for this issue? Anyone know what the heck AMD Eyeinfinity did my settings/monitor to make it not work anymore? I have been using the windows key + P display options for 4 years now, and I regularly switch between them with no issues till today after using Eyeinfinity. I get blank screens with an error message that says "Input device not supported". But when I do that, now my main monitor won't work. so I hit windows key + P to switch my display mode back "computer only". A problem that is caused by having your screens on "extend" mode.

I decided to go watch a movie afterwards and noticed while in full screen that there was screen tearing. So afterwards I disabled Eyefinity because my two monitor sit quite a distance away from each other and its pointless to have two different monitors project as one monitor if there is a giant gap in the middle of picture. So today I decided to go tinker around with AMD Eyefinity with the latest Radeon 15.12 Crimson drivers.
